Head Injuries Require Major Attention

Impact

Professionals from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Sports Medicine will be conducting educational sessions and ImPACT Baseline testing to the Gwinnett Community through Play Healthy Gwinnett. The education sessions will be offered on:

  • Thursday, Sept. 18, 7 – 8 p.m. at Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center.

ImPACT Baseline testing will be offered for a reduced fee of $10 per child ages 11 and up. The testing will be on:

  • Saturday, Sept. 20, 8 – 10 a.m. at George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center
  • Saturday, Oct. 4, 8 – 10 a.m. at J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA

Kaitlyn Richards-Lynn is a senior at Duluth High School. She has been an active member of her school’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams for the past three years. She is also a member of the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team and Student Body Vice President.
